DESERT OAK is an authentically restored, architecturally designed, adobe home. From the moment you walk through the custom latilla gate into a private courtyard, you are surrounded by the comfort of a unique home designed in an elegant, southwestern style. Custom details include hand-hewn timber beams, imported Mexican tile, and a traditional fireplace. French doors and skylights allow an abundance of sunlight and air to flow throughout the interior. The home offers many amenities including a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room with a fireplace, cable TV, VCR, phone, and answering machine, stereo with CD and cassette players, a separate utility room with a washer and dryer. There is a large courtyard in front [with a view of majestic Taos Mountain] and a secluded backyard with private a hot tub. The main house has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms [one with a Jacuzzi] and can sleep 6-8 people.
