The History of Desert Oak

Desert Oak was slated for demolition when purchased in 1996. The home was gutted and rebuilt [a new roof was installed, which enabled us to put in 6 skylights, new plumbing, new electrical, actually new everything ] so you get the charm of an old adobe but the conveniences of a new one. The design is in keeping with traditional southwest detailing and materials, though it has a slightly contemporary edge.  The original floor plan was added on to, creating larger rooms and giving them more daylight.  You are viewing photographs before and during construction.  If you choose to come, we are confident you will enjoy your stay.
